Garibaldi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Jerano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Orlondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Palos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garibaldi FC's Jacobo Palos got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Garibaldi FC booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Aznar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Fermin Primeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marcos Matthew was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 63rd minute, Tadeo Diagur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amador Ovando kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacobo Palos got free with Celestino Nuñez in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, River Plate's Paulo Orlondo got a free kick in the 75th minute. Victorino Benvide's late challenge caught a River Plate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorino Benvide helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of River Plate booed when Garibaldi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Benvide didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeo Diagur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jacobo Palos made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Julio Jerano. Marcos Matthew showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Diagur in the 97th minute of the match.
