Ildefonso Barto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Elazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romulo Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ildefonso Barto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Astor Elazar in the 27th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 28th minute Omar Garaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Rito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Garaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Rito having to interfere. If Astor Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tornado Saien F.C's Osvaldo Unai got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Fabricio Gorosti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Cristobal Katia sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tornado Saien F.C's Ildefonso Barto didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in elasmopalpus's zone, Omar Garaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Rito came out of the goal and Omar Garaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artemio Argider struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Santo Rito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tornado Saien F.C. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Astor Elazar was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artemio Argider got free with Santo Rito in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Astor Elazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. elasmopalpus's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Elazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ildefonso Barto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the match, Astor Elazar notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Tornado Saien F.C's Ildefonso Barto. Ildefonso Barto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 64 minutes into the match, Romulo Fernandes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ildefonso Barto. Tornado Saien F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romulo Fernandes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ildefonso Barto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Elazar in the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Astor Elazar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ildefonso Barto. Tornado Saien F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Astor Elazar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 95 minutes into the match, elasmopalpus's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Unai came free, but Santo Rito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. elasmopalpus had won after a very even match.
