Spectators: 7184 (Terracing: 5390, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) Coby The Dog's Anastasio Ofelio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Ardiles FC booed when Coby The Dog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Ralondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Gustavo Garikoitz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Melquiades Favila. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 10th minute, Arsenio Nisio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 12 minutes, Gustavo Garikoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ardiles FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Garikoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Arsenio Nisio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Garikoitz in the 15th minute of play forced Coby The Dog's goalkeeper Melquiades Favila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Favila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Nisio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Gustavo Garikoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Favila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Ardiles FC's Gustavo Garikoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustavo Garikoitz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Melquiades Favila skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 29 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Txartiko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coby The Dog's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ardiles FC the free kick. In the 28th minute, one of Coby The Dog:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Coby The Dog. The referee gave Ardiles FC a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Teodosio Nabar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Coby The Dog's Melquiades Favila. 2-0. The supporters of Coby The Dog booed when Ardiles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Oxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anastasio Ofelio struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Gilberto Santiago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coby The Dog. 45 minutes into the match, Arsenio Nisio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Melquiades Favila, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Arsenio Nisio made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Arsenio Nisio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adan Baleren hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 61stth minute of the game Gustavo Garikoitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coby The Dog's Melquiades Favila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Coby The Dog's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Garikoitz came free, but Melquiades Favila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Garikoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute Arsenio Nisio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Favila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Endira charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Endira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes Ardiles FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Endira. Hernan Bernad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Gilberto Santiago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Garikoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Favila having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Arsenio Nisio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ardiles FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arsenio Nisio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Favila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gaston Atauri came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Ardiles FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Atauri couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Garikoitz in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Favila saved Coby The Dog from getting behind. Gustavo Garikoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Favila having to interfere.
