Spectators: 6975 (Terracing: 5175, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 138) Coby The Dog's Anastasio Ofelio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Acebal's zone, Hernan Bernad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Caradaro came out of the goal and Hernan Bernad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 11 played minutes Acebal got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Dominix. Coby The Dog's German Peyo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Acebal. Anastasio Ofelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Acebal's Eriberto Caradaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Ofelio in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Anastasio Ofelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coby The Dog's supporters rose to their feet, but Anastasio Ofelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Caradaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute Anastasio Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Caradaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Acebal's Julian Moise got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luciano Justin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 32nd playminute. Eriberto Caradaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Ofelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Luciano Justin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasio Ofelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44thth minute of the game Hernan Bernad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Acebal's Eriberto Caradaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eriberto Caradaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Bernad in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Moise stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Coby The Dog fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Coby The Dog's Hernan Bernad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Ofelio in the 59th minute of play forced Acebal's goalkeeper Eriberto Caradaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hernan Bernad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernan Bernad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Caradaro having to interfere. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acebal's goalkeeper Eriberto Caradaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Coby The Dog were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Acebal to leave the ground with a draw.
