After some careless play in the Deportivo Balvanera defense, Fausto Orti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Loren. The Deportivo Balvanera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Loren should have stopped the shot. Atilano Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Lobo in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Fermin Lobo made a precise shot to the right of Atilano Astudillo. Nogolí AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Silvio Orti got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Bernardino Llope fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nogolí AFC's protests and gave Bernardino Llope a yellow card for diving instead. Bernardino Llope hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Fermin Lobo's late challenge caught a Nogolí AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fermin Lobo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nogolí AFC booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Lobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Loren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bonifacio Opilano's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 34th minute, Fausto Orti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Koldobika to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Orti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Loren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Conrado Vachon charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conrado Vachon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fausto Orti might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobias Loren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Orti ran back to his position shaking his head. Bonifacio Opilano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tobias Loren having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Opilano in the 42nd minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Tobias Loren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Silvio Orti got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Fausto Orti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Loren having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Bonifacio Opilano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nogolí AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Opilano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Loren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fermin Lobo was the one to do the kick off. Atilano Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Lobo in the 52nd minute of play. Atilano Astudillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Lobo went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 60th match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Gudesteo to maneuver through the defense. Tobias Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Opilano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliano Koldobika might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atilano Astudillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliano Koldobika ran back to his position shaking his head. Aureliano Koldobika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Astudillo having to interfere. Atilano Astudillo came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Balvanera's Reynaldo Leocadio. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Leocadio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Bonifacio Opilano struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Tobias Loren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nogolí AFC. After 92 minutes, Rodrigo Elia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Balvanera and the Nogolí AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Deportivo Balvanera getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Silvio Orti hit a great ball. Deportivo Balvanera were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nogolí AFC for a fine match.
