The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After recieving a nice pass, Firsag FC's Joaquin Soter tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Evarado in the 9th minute of play forced Mosconi's goalkeeper Victoriano Cordeara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erubiel Cordarin came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Evaristo Gasteiz could save by the left post. Erubiel Cordarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Gasteiz having to interfere. Victoriano Cordeara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Iliana, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Marcelino Cuarto charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Cuarto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Mosconi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Cuarto to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Roque Evarado put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Victoriano Cordeara. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Evarado in the 22nd minute of play forced Mosconi's goalkeeper Victoriano Cordeara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoriano Cordeara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Iliana, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Mosconi's Victoriano Cordeara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Iliana in the 32nd minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Marcelino Cuarto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Llanos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Erubiel Cordarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mario Llanos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Evaristo Gasteiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes in the game, Mario Llanos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Evaristo Gasteiz having to interfere. Erubiel Cordarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Gasteiz having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Llanos to make the kick off. The supporters of Mosconi booed when Firsag FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Victoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Firsag FC's Evaristo Gasteiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Llanos in the 53rd minute of play. Marcelino Cuarto kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Firsag FC's Joaquin Soter couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 60th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mosconi. When Firsag FC's Sixto Iliana, in the 63rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Firsag FC. Victoriano Cordeara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sixto Iliana in the 66th minute. Evaristo Gasteiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erubiel Cordarin's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Roque Evarado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Firsag FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roque Evarado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Cordeara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mario Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Araoz hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Mosconi's Carlos Iztal broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sixto Iliana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Victoriano Cordeara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
