The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Boulogne FC booed when Gowland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Weterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th match minute, Gowland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Servando to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Estevez scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elvio Ostadar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Melchor Pio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Gagriel in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Boulogne FC's Carlos Gagriel got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute, Carlos Gagriel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 33 played minutes, Gowland's Severiano Endura shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elvio Ostadar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gowland reached it. In the 35th minute Lorenzo Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Ostadar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Abad charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Abad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Boulogne FC!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lorenzo Estevez to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Clodoveo Veto made a precise shot to the right of Melchor Pio. Gowland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Primitivo Macario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Pio having to interfere. Melchor Pio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Gagriel went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice moves Nereo Servando could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Elvio Ostadar however easily saved by the left post. When Carlos Gagriel fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boulogne FC's protests and gave Carlos Gagriel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Carlos Gagriel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melchor Pio came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Boulogne FC's Carlos Gagriel. But to his dismay, Carlos Gagriel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Tomas Videl's late challenge caught a Gowland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Videl helped the player get up and apologised. Tomas Videl kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Gowland's Melchor Pio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Gagriel in the 90th minute of play. Carlos Gagriel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melchor Pio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. If Lorenzo Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
