Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rene Cefero started the match with the kick off. Bartolo Benitez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luciano Sandalio came out and tried to block the shot, but Bartolo Benitez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Marcial Raymon charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcial Raymon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes Amberes got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Raymon. In the 8th minute of the match Gavino Bernaldo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albano Seber showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Clemente Mergildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Albano Seber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rene Cefero came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Manzanares fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Cefero couldn't finish the play. Eduardo Bide struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Luciano Sandalio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amberes. After 23 minutes, Erubiel Mirande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manzanares and the Amberes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Manzanares's Erubiel Mirande got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Albano Seber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Gau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albano Seber came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Manzanares's Juan Gau. But to his dismay, Juan Gau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some careless play in the Amberes defense, Rene Cefero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albano Seber. The Amberes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albano Seber should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Juan Gau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manzanares's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Gau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albano Seber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 37 played minutes Amberes got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Jaunti. In the 46th minute, Manzanares's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bartolo Benitez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 48th minute Rene Cefero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Seber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Amberes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Manzanares were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bartolo Benitez made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Amberes's Isaac Servando got a free kick in the 51st minute. Clemente Mergildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Seber having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Amberes's Bartolo Benitez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luciano Sandalio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, Clemente Mergildo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Albano Seber was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manzanares's Augusto Rodriguez shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 75th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Albano Seber but with some difficulty. Bartolo Benitez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Mergildo struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Albano Seber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manzanares. In the 91st minute, Clemente Mergildo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albano Seber was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Luciano Sandalio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Raymon, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Manzanares had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
