Manzanares's Luciano Sandalio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Manzanares from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute, Juan Gau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Gau kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Gavino Bernaldo's late challenge caught a Albinegro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavino Bernaldo helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes Manzanares got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Bernaldo. Albinegro FC's Anier Theodore got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luciano Sandalio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Ayala in the 29th minute of the match. Erubiel Mirande hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Leandro Lico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Luciano Sandalio made a huge save. Nunez Claris charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nunez Claris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Manzanares booed when Albinegro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Claris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Leandro Lico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Sandalio having to interfere. Erubiel Mirande's late challenge caught a Albinegro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erubiel Mirande helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes Manzanares got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Mirande. In the 61st minute Leandro Lico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Sandalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leandro Lico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Luciano Sandalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Anier Theodore came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Albinegro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anier Theodore couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Lico in the 67th minute of play forced Manzanares's goalkeeper Luciano Sandalio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Anier Theodore notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Manzanares's Luciano Sandalio. Luciano Sandalio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leandro Lico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fidel Ayala during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Albinegro FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Fidel Ayala hit a great ball. Clemente Mergildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Tirso having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Albinegro FC's Jorge Estefan got a free kick in the 78th minute. Luciano Sandalio came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Albinegro FC's Anier Theodore. But to his dismay, Anier Theodore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Clemente Mergildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Clemente Mergildo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
