The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Camilo Jenaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Jenaro got free with Silvestre Montae in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Colegiales's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Calixto came free, but Cipriano Egoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Elias Jokin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Egoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Egoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Jokin in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Camilo Jenaro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Silvestre Montae, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to FC Talita 04 getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Evaristo Iratxo hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes FC Talita 04 got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Monte. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Jenaro got free with Silvestre Montae in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in FC Talita 04's zone, Camilo Jenaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Montae came out of the goal and Camilo Jenaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute, Adrian Tome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC Talita 04 booed when Colegiales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Jago didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Baltasar Patxi made the kick off in the second half. Marcelino Castel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silvestre Montae. FC Talita 04's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Tome during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Colegiales getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Silvestre Montae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Patxi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Talita 04 getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Isaias Goizeder hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Talita 04's zone, Baltasar Patxi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Montae came out of the goal and Baltasar Patxi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colegiales were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Talita 04 for a fine match.
