Carmelo Serapio might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvestre Montae. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmelo Serapio ran back to his position shaking his head. La Germaneta F.C's Celso Gauargi got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. La Germaneta F.C's Armando Quiroga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save La Germaneta F.C from getting a goal against them. Carmelo Serapio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Montae having to interfere. Elias Jokin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Armando Quiroga made a huge save. Celso Gauargi scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvestre Montae, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, FC Talita 04's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Serapio came free, but Silvestre Montae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Jokin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, La Germaneta F.C's Lino Guifre got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Talita 04's zone, Carmelo Serapio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Montae came out of the goal and Carmelo Serapio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carmelo Serapio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Montae having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Gauargi in the 40th minute of play forced FC Talita 04's goalkeeper Silvestre Montae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmelo Serapio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Montae having to interfere. Armando Quiroga came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Talita 04's Eliseo Calixto. But to his dismay, Eliseo Calixto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When La Germaneta F.C's Celso Gauargi in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Talita 04's goalie prevented a goal. Carmelo Serapio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Montae having to interfere. When Celso Gauargi came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the La Germaneta F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Gauargi couldn't finish the play. Celso Gauargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Silvestre Montae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmelo Serapio got free with Silvestre Montae in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Eliseo Calixto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Talita 04 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Lino Guifre charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Guifre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 82 minutes into the match, FC Talita 04's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Gauargi came free, but Silvestre Montae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Carmelo Serapio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Quiroga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Calixto in the 87th minute of play. In the 98thth minute of the game Celso Gauargi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Talita 04's Silvestre Montae was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Many of La Germaneta F.C's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. La Germaneta F.C may have spent more time on the ball, but FC Talita 04 were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
