Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Apolo Romelio kicked off to start the match. Eustaquio Eguzki hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The Ninalquín fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Ninalquín's Gilberto Abecia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Elpidio Quexal fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ninalquín's protests and gave Elpidio Quexal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, Ninalquín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Quexal to maneuver through the defense. Cotita's Romulo Curcio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ninalquín. Faustino Abechuco kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The referee gave Cotita a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Romulo Curcio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ninalquín's Lino Ibañez. 1-1. In the 24th minute Guillermo Cambranes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Lapurdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Ninalquín's Gilberto Abecia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Lapurdi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Guillermo Cambranes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camilo Lapurdi. That made the score 2-1 in the 29 minute of play. After 32 played minutes Ninalquín got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Lobo. 33 minutes into the game, Cotita's Domingos Oier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lino Ibañez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. With a little luck, Cotita's Camilo Lapurdi got control of the ball when Gilberto Abecia tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 minutes, Maximino Odol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cotita and the Ninalquín players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cotita's Maximino Odol got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Camilo Lapurdi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 46th minute, which inside left pole to 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guillermo Cambranes to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cotita's Angelo Filipo got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Guillermo Cambranes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Lapurdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Abecia, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Dionisio Corderun hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Lino Ibañez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Romulo Curcio. Gilberto Abecia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Lapurdi having to interfere. If Domingos Oier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute of the match Elpidio Quexal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Lapurdi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cotita's Camilo Lapurdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Cambranes in the 95th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
