In the 21st minute of the match, Felix Montae tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Isidoro Aires saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dario Mendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The wind increased when Felix Montae made the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Bajo Frías:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Libertadores de America:s goal. 59 minutes into the match, Bajo Frías's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Mendez came free, but Isidoro Aires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Aires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montae in the 60th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Felix Montae managed to get in a good position for a shot. Libertadores de America's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montae was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Aires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidoro Aires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Mendez in the 63rd minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Bajo Frías's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montae came free, but Isidoro Aires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isidoro Aires showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee ignored Bajo Frías's protests and gave Octavio Ruisko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute, Octavio Ruisko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Clodoveo Quinteros in the 90th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Isidoro Aires's left hand side. After 99 played minutes Bajo Frías got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Blanco. There was no doubt that Libertadores de America were the better team. Libertadores de America's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
