The audience was convinced that Francisco Dorio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Sidro was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Teodosio Ulizes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jorge Iraunkor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Teodosio Ulizes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Precioso in the 38th minute of play forced Ferro Carapachay Oeste's goalkeeper Jorge Iraunkor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Iraunkor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Ulizes, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ferro Carapachay Oeste's zone, Teodosio Ulizes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Iraunkor came out of the goal and Teodosio Ulizes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Desiderio Precioso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Silla de Ruedas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Precioso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Dorio made a kick off. Teodosio Ulizes struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Jorge Iraunkor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Silla de Ruedas. After having played for 53 minutes, Norberto Maura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferro Carapachay Oeste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Maura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deportivo Silla de Ruedas's Alvaro Sidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Dorio in the 55th minute of play. After 57 minutes, Jaime Frechoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferro Carapachay Oeste and the Deportivo Silla de Ruedas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Silla de Ruedas's Desiderio Precioso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jorge Iraunkor. That made the score 0-1 after 58 minutes of play. If Desiderio Precioso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Maura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Francisco Dorio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferro Carapachay Oeste's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Dorio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Sidro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Silla de Ruedas's Cornelio Indar got a free kick in the 96th minute. 98 minutes into the match, Deportivo Silla de Ruedas's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Maura came free, but Alvaro Sidro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Silla de Ruedas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
