In the 12thth minute of the game Celso Atarratze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Once Tiros's Claudio Urki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute, Tadeo Millano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Murphy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Murphy's Celso Atarratze in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 28thth minute of the game Celso Atarratze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Once Tiros's Claudio Urki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celso Atarratze in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudio Urki saved Once Tiros from getting behind. If Dario Berriotxoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Murphy's Celso Atarratze in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 48th minute Celso Atarratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Urki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Once Tiros players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Murphy were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Lleir to make the kick off. Celso Atarratze who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Claudio Urki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Claudio Urki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Normando in the 54th minute of the match. Celso Atarratze in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Claudio Urki, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 83 played minutes Once Tiros got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Lleir. After a rather tough play, Once Tiros's Severo Rioja got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 86 minutes, Celso Atarratze made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Once Tiros's Claudio Urki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Once Tiros's Claudio Urki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Atarratze in the 89th minute of play. After 95 minutes, Tobias Lugo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Once Tiros and the Murphy players grew even worse after the yellow card.
