In the 16th match minute, Ferro Carapachay Oeste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Frechoso to maneuver through the defense. If Javier Peru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Iraunkor came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Lezcanos FC's Teobaldo Rocendo. But to his dismay, Teobaldo Rocendo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lezcanos FC's Javier Peru got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Francisco Dorio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferro Carapachay Oeste's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Dorio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bonifacio Osoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guido Cuartio struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jorge Iraunkor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lezcanos FC. Jorge Iraunkor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Rocendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Dorio was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Ferro Carapachay Oeste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Veto to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 60 minutes, Francisco Dorio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferro Carapachay Oeste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Dorio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Dorio in the 66th minute of play forced Lezcanos FC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Osoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bonifacio Osoro came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Ferro Carapachay Oeste's Norberto Maura. But to his dismay, Norberto Maura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Rocendo in the 79th minute of play forced Ferro Carapachay Oeste's goalkeeper Jorge Iraunkor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Lezcanos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Dorio came free, but Bonifacio Osoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
