Enrique Cordarius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Iraunkor having to make a save. Severino Abel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Iraunkor having to make a save. In the 22ndth minute of the game Norberto Maura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Springfield F.C.'s Ariel Quinton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Dorio in the 23rd minute of play forced Springfield F.C.'s goalkeeper Ariel Quinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Cordarius in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jorge Iraunkor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jorge Iraunkor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cordarius in the 31st minute of play. In the 39th minute, Severino Abel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enrique Cordarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jorge Iraunkor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After some careless play in the Ferro Carapachay Oeste defense, Enrique Cordarius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Iraunkor. The Ferro Carapachay Oeste fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Iraunkor should have stopped the shot. Norberto Maura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Dorio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrique Cordarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jorge Iraunkor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Maura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Ariel Quinton made a huge save. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Springfield F.C.! After having played for 77 minutes, Severino Abel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Springfield F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Abel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Iraunkor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Abel in the 82nd minute of play. Francisco Dorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferro Carapachay Oeste's Jorge Iraunkor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Abel in the 91st minute of play. Springfield F.C. were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Ferro Carapachay Oeste to leave the ground with a draw.
