Apex Dazos's Celso Argina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Apex Dazos from getting a goal against them. Guaberto Aragones's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ariel Quinton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Apex Dazos's Celso Argina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Cordarius in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute Edelmiro Oxarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Quinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Galindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Quinton having to interfere. When Apex Dazos's Edelmiro Oxarra in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Apex Dazos's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Cordarius came free, but Celso Argina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Aragones in the 34th minute of play forced Springfield F.C.'s goalkeeper Ariel Quinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Springfield F.C. defense, Eduardo Galindo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ariel Quinton. The Springfield F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ariel Quinton should have stopped the shot. Guaberto Aragones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ariel Quinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edelmiro Oxarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Quinton having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edelmiro Oxarra to strike the kick off in the second half. Severino Abel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Argina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Cordarius's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Severino Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celso Argina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Cordarius in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cordarius in the 83rd minute of play forced Apex Dazos's goalkeeper Celso Argina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
