The Pesimismo Athletic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustacio Rivas should have stopped the shot. Eustacio Rivas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Loren in the 34th minute of the match. TELLENOELOYO's Santo Loren got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Santo Loren made the kick off in the second half. Javier Euloxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Rivas having to interfere. The referee ignored TELLENOELOYO's protests and gave Abel Ganix a yellow card for diving instead. When the match was over TELLENOELOYO could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pesimismo Athletic throughout the match.
