After 12 played minutes, Sheite's Ernesto Osasun shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jaime Ralondo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sheite reached it. 14 minutes into the match, Sheite's Niceto Nabar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jaime Ralondo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tobias Goito charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Goito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Butumbele booed when Sheite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Goito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Roberto Manuelo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ovidio Luzaide, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Sheite's zone, Delmar Goyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Luzaide came out of the goal and Delmar Goyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roberto Manuelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tobias Goito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jaime Ralondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Butumbele got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Manuelo. In the 70th minute Butumbele were awarded a corner. Anastasio Hunfredo went to the cornerflag to take it. If Roberto Manuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Niceto Nabar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaime Ralondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Butumbele's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Tobias Goito scored to the left of an out of position Jaime Ralondo, making the score, 0-2. Jaime Ralondo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Benito Hurko. Niceto Nabar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Ralondo having to interfere. Tobias Goito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ovidio Luzaide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Manuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Goito struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Jaime Ralondo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sheite. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Goito in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaime Ralondo saved Butumbele from getting behind. The Sheite players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
