The tension between the Pesimismo Athletic and the Guampacha AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mariano Ponciano kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Hugo Burni struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Eustacio Rivas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guampacha AFC. After 16 minutes of play, Guampacha AFC's Hugo Burni made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustacio Rivas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Octavio Haimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gaspar Etxatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erubiel Henrico's late challenge caught a Pesimismo Athletic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erubiel Henrico helped the player get up and apologised. Eustacio Rivas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Theobald in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Guampacha AFC's Hugo Burni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eustacio Rivas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Burni in the 35th minute of play forced Pesimismo Athletic's goalkeeper Eustacio Rivas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Etxatxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Haimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Octavio Haimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes Guampacha AFC got a freekick which was hit by German Merexildo. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Burni to make the kick off. Cleto Fero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute, Octavio Haimar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaspar Etxatxu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Santo Honesto kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Cleto Fero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gaspar Etxatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Octavio Haimar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Etxatxu was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Octavio Haimar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Pesimismo Athletic's Cleto Fero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaspar Etxatxu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cleto Fero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaspar Etxatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Fero in the 79th minute of play. Pesimismo Athletic's Eustacio Rivas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Pesimismo Athletic from getting a goal against them.
