In the 10th match minute, Butumbele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Matai to maneuver through the defense. Inocencio Fagildo took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaime Ralondo. Jaime Ralondo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Prospero Abeitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CA Mancardos's Inocencio Fagildo got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 21 minutes, Prospero Abeitia made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Butumbele's Jaime Ralondo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prospero Abeitia in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaime Ralondo saved Butumbele from getting behind. CA Mancardos's Armando Obeko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Matai in the 28th minute of play. Eustacio Gaitan hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With his leg Jaime Ralondo managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when CA Mancardos's Prospero Abeitia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jaime Ralondo made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Prospero Abeitia sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Butumbele defense, Prospero Abeitia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaime Ralondo. The Butumbele fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaime Ralondo should have stopped the shot. A collision led to CA Mancardos getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Prospero Abeitia hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roberto Manuelo made a kick off. Prospero Abeitia scored 5-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jaime Ralondo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prospero Abeitia in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Ralondo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armando Obeko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Manuelo in the 62nd minute of the match. Carmelo Matai kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Prospero Abeitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Butumbele's Carmelo Matai got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Carmelo Matai off the ground. After a rather tough play, Butumbele's Carmelo Matai got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The audience was convinced that Prospero Abeitia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Ralondo was relentless in the 84th minute of the game.
