Spectators: 6672 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Esteban Millano got the match started through his kick off. Gerardo Quinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Gaztea in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Sergi saved Carolina from getting behind. Esteban Millano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elias Sergi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Gaztea, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Leonardo Gaztea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elias Sergi. Leonardo Gaztea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Trotadores's Emiliano Txanton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Mancio in the 24th minute of play. After 25 played minutes Trotadores got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Beat. 26 minutes into the match, Trotadores's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Iaki came free, but Emiliano Txanton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerardo Quinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Elias Sergi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emiliano Txanton came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Carolina's Esteban Millano. But to his dismay, Esteban Millano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Emiliano Txanton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Millano, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Trotadores's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Millano came free, but Emiliano Txanton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Txanton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Mancio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteban Millano took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emiliano Txanton. Emiliano Txanton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Jacinto Mancio sped through Trotadores's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emiliano Txanton. After 47 played minutes Carolina got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Millano. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Trotadores's Victorino Jesco got a free kick in the 51st minute. With a little luck, Trotadores's Emiliano Txanton got control of the ball when Jacinto Mancio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Melquiades Gonzales was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trotadores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carolina the free kick. After a rather tough play, Trotadores's Melquiades Gonzales got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 58th minute, Jacinto Mancio made a precise shot to the right of Emiliano Txanton. Trotadores's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Millano in the 61st minute of play forced Trotadores's goalkeeper Emiliano Txanton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Mancio might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Txanton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Mancio ran back to his position shaking his head. When Gerardo Quinto came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Trotadores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Quinto couldn't finish the play. In the 71st match minute, Trotadores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Beat to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Trotadores's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jacinto Mancio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Melquiades Gonzales was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Emiliano Txanton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Millano in the 83rd minute of play. Esteban Millano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emiliano Txanton came out and tried to block the shot, but Esteban Millano slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 85th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Carolina walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
