In the 16th minute Esteban Millano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Beturian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aguayo AFC's goalkeeper Isaias Beturian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Aguayo AFC's Basilio Dalmu got a free kick in the 21st minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Esteban Millano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carolina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Millano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Dante Cuartio could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Elias Sergi however easily saved by the left post. Dante Cuartio struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Elias Sergi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aguayo AFC. Esteban Millano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Beturian having to interfere. Esteban Millano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
