Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adrian Gabrio took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Adrian Gabrio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riachuelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Gabrio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saul Bilintx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adrian Gabrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Faustino Gaizkine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ezequiel Abascal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Crispo having to interfere. Faustino Gaizkine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Bilintx, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Ezequiel Abascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Angelo Handi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Freddy Crispo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adrian Gabrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Faustino Gaizkine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aquiles Martino's late challenge caught a Riachuelo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquiles Martino helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Manantiales Junior FC's Aquiles Martino got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 32 minutes of play Manantiales Junior FC's Aquiles Martino was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Manantiales Junior FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Aquiles Martino hit a great ball. When Adrian Gabrio came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Riachuelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Gabrio couldn't finish the play. Angelo Handi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Saul Bilintx came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Riachuelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Bilintx couldn't finish the play. Faustino Gaizkine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Gabrio in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ezequiel Abascal to strike the kick off in the second half. Faustino Gaizkine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Gabrio in the 57th minute of the match. Riachuelo's Saul Bilintx got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Manantiales Junior FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Gabrio came free, but Faustino Gaizkine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Gaizkine made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Saul Bilintx sent off a good shot on target. Faustino Gaizkine came out of the goal and Adrian Gabrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Adrian Gabrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Generoso Urtsua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute, Adrian Gabrio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Faustino Gaizkine, passed just outside the right post. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Faustino Gaizkine successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Adrian Gabrio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riachuelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Gabrio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Gaizkine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Riachuelo's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Manantiales Junior FC had won, even though Riachuelo had held more of the ball.
