Santiago Ostadar hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The supporters of Nothingham City booed when Cavanagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Odilon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jorge Sol came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Nothingham City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Sol couldn't finish the play. Cavanagh's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Bruno Hori scored to the left of an out of position Luis Naelio, making the score, 2-0. Vicente Leoncio tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Anselmo Txindoki. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-1 in the 29th minute. Nothingham City's Bruno Hori got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cavanagh's Luis Naelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Hori in the 37th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Jorge Sol dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luis Naelio, 3-1. 46 minutes into the game, one of Cavanagh:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jesus Sengrat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
