Oasis's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Uzuri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Pirro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oasis's Humberto Uzuri got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Olayo's late challenge caught a Paternal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Olayo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Oasis getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Carlos Olayo hit a great ball. In the 36th minute of the match Teobaldo Ruisko sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paolo Valente skillfully saved the ball. Maximino Pirro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Leoncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

With a little luck, Oasis's Paolo Valente got control of the ball when Filomeno Silvanito tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pascual Herensuge hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Urtun in the 82nd minute of play forced Oasis's goalkeeper Paolo Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Gaudencio Urtun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paternal FC's Maximino Pirro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Uzuri in the 93rd minute of play.
