An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Ubarna in the 47th minute of play forced Riachuelo's goalkeeper Freddy Crispo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saul Bilintx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Prospero Txomin having to make a save. Prospero Txomin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Bilintx, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Calabacillas's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Bilintx came free, but Prospero Txomin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Riachuelo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Calabacillas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
