Salvador Kepa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Leoncio in the 4th minute of the match. Ciro Osoitz, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Delmar Gorka charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delmar Gorka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Oasis got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Gorka. In the 23rd minute, Gervasio Quintun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 28 played minutes Oasis got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Perez. After a rather tough play, Ciénaga's Guaberto Mercurio got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Ramiro Cloyo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Lucio Gilen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Ciro Osoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santiago Leoncio to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Hipolito Azibar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciénaga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oasis the free kick. A collision led to Ciénaga getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Humberto Uzuri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Kepa having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Lucio Gilen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciénaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Gilen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Valente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ciénaga's zone, Humberto Uzuri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Kepa came out of the goal and Humberto Uzuri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salvador Kepa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Leoncio in the 77th minute of play. Lucio Gilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paolo Valente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Gilen, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Gervasio Quintun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Valente having to interfere. Santiago Leoncio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Kepa having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of Oasis were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Ciénaga side.
