Spectators: 6810 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) Campana's Angelino Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Gabrio in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Gabrio in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelino Bernaldo saved Campana from getting behind. Campana's Angelino Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Bilintx in the 10th minute of play. If Adrian Gabrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the game, Florencio Estavan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Campana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riachuelo the free kick. A collision led to Campana getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Florencio Estavan hit a great ball. Riachuelo's Adrian Gabrio got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niceto Lidon charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niceto Lidon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Niceto Lidon hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Campana's Jimeno Iztal got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute Adrian Gabrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niceto Lidon got his second yellow card in the match during the 25th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Riachuelo booed when Campana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Lidon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Tomás Gamus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Freddy Crispo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Nicasio Gines fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riachuelo's protests and gave Nicasio Gines a yellow card for diving instead. Nicasio Gines kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Tomás Gamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Crispo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Riachuelo's Oscar Astudillo got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 40th match minute, Riachuelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Urtsua to maneuver through the defense. If Generoso Urtsua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Bilintx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Bernaldo having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Gamus to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Campana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Idacio to maneuver through the defense. Saul Bilintx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Angelino Bernaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Gabrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Bernaldo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Florencio Estavan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campana's supporters rose to their feet, but Florencio Estavan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Crispo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, Generoso Urtsua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Astudillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Saul Bilintx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Generoso Urtsua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute of the match, Generoso Urtsua tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Angelino Bernaldo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Generoso Urtsua struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Angelino Bernaldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riachuelo. Angelino Bernaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Generoso Urtsua in the 81st minute. After 83 minutes of play, Riachuelo's Saul Bilintx made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelino Bernaldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Campana booed when Riachuelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Jaume didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliciano Alonso charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliciano Alonso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Campana booed when Riachuelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Alonso didn't get a good kick on the ball.
