Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcelino Nalo kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Horquilla's zone, Rosendo Quintin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Henric came out of the goal and Rosendo Quintin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Lawrence hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Nogolí's goalkeeper Flavio Illart had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogelio Xacintu. Cosme Henric took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Figueroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Horquilla's Paulo Lawrence got a free kick in the 11th minute. Cosme Henric stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimundo Figueroa's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Cosme Henric took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Quintin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Horquilla getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Aristides Marin hit a great ball. Rogelio Xacintu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Flavio Illart made a huge save. Horacio Primeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Rogelio Xacintu in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flavio Illart, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Flavio Illart made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Xacintu in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rosendo Quintin to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcelino Nalo struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Flavio Illart didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Horquilla. When Paulo Lawrence came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Horquilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Lawrence couldn't finish the play. Horquilla's Marcelino Nalo got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Xacintu in the 67th minute of play forced Nogolí's goalkeeper Flavio Illart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosme Henric made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Quintin in the 78th minute of play. Ramon Calvet took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cosme Henric. Horquilla's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Quintin in the 80th minute of play forced Horquilla's goalkeeper Cosme Henric to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Horquilla booed when Nogolí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Bibiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosendo Quintin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcelino Nalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Illart having to interfere. Rogelio Xacintu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Flavio Illart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogelio Xacintu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelino Nalo in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Illart prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Horquilla walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
