The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nicasio Mincho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Koi's Basilio Asur got control of the ball when Arsenio Timo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Vinicio Havier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Koi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Apostadores jr the free kick. The supporters of Apostadores jr booed when Koi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Havier didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Arsenio Timo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Koi's Basilio Asur. Basilio Asur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Koi's Basilio Asur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Koi from getting a goal against them. Arsenio Timo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 minutes of play Koi's Vinicio Havier was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 18th minute, Vinicio Havier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Betadur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Lehoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Koi fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Koi's Saturnino Gagriel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 28 played minutes Koi got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Gagriel. Arsenio Timo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Basilio Asur firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evelio Leocadio got free with Basilio Asur in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Koi's Anier Lehoi got a free kick in the 34th minute. Camilo Muc hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The supporters of Apostadores jr booed when Koi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Viviano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Arsenio Timo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arsenio Timo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 39th minute. Apostadores jr's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Arsenio Timo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Basilio Asur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arsenio Timo struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Basilio Asur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apostadores jr. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arsenio Timo to make the kick off. Saturnino Gagriel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 56 minutes, Ciro Hernando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Apostadores jr and the Koi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Apostadores jr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Hernando to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Epifanio Harriet got free with Arnaldo Betadur in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anier Lehoi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Koi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Arsenio Timo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 72 minutes, Saturnino Gagriel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Koi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Gagriel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Koi's Saturnino Gagriel in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Apostadores jr's goalie prevented a goal. Koi's Basilio Asur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Timo in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Timo in the 86th minute of play forced Koi's goalkeeper Basilio Asur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Arsenio Timo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Asur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arsenio Timo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Asur having to interfere. Anier Lehoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Apostadores jr getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Benedicto Elija hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Ambrosio Viviano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Apostadores jr supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Koi's performance. The match ended with a win for Koi.
