Damaso Pes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ebardo. C.A BOCA JUNIOR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jonathan Ebardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Petrigai in the 16th minute of the match. Basilio Urti was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, one of C.A BOCA JUNIOR:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. C.A BOCA JUNIOR's Jonathan Ebardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Lauro in the 23rd minute of play. Jonathan Ebardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Petrigai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Petrigai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ebardo having to interfere. C.A BOCA JUNIOR's Jonathan Ebardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Petrigai in the 31st minute of play. Jonathan Ebardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Petrigai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Merexildo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Jonathan Ebardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduardo Lauro went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Eduardo Lauro made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Benjamin Petrigai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ebardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in C.A BOCA JUNIOR's zone, Benjamin Petrigai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ebardo came out of the goal and Benjamin Petrigai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the game, Aurinegro Bahiense's Eduardo Lauro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ebardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Eduardo Lauro might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ebardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Lauro ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Lauro in the 74th minute of play forced C.A BOCA JUNIOR's goalkeeper Jonathan Ebardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as C.A BOCA JUNIOR had held the ball for most of the match.
