Guaberto Mattin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Desaguadero FC's Guaberto Mattin got a free kick in the 41st minute. Alejo Blai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Lia having to interfere. Eustaquio Lia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Quin in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guaberto Mattin was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Victor Burutzagi in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Caseros FC's Nicanor Martinez. Tiburcio Quin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Eustaquio Lia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ignacio Eutropio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Perutxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 58 played minutes Caseros FC got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Ordono. Caseros FC's attentive Cirilo Normando managed to snatch the ball when Lucas Orain made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. Dalmacio Prejun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Guaberto Mattin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desaguadero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Mattin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignacio Eutropio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, Angelino Perutxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrique Blasco during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Guaberto Mattin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Eutropio having to interfere. Caseros FC's Ignacio Eutropio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Mattin in the 79th minute of play. Tiburcio Quin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 83rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Eustaquio Lia made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Tiburcio Quin sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Caseros FC booed when Desaguadero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Mattin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Tiburcio Quin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eustaquio Lia was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
