Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Lauro in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adan Silbestre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adan Silbestre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Lauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Mar del Tuyu FC's goalkeeper Adan Silbestre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Petrigai. Eduardo Lauro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adan Silbestre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Eduardo Lauro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clemente Iyan scored 0-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tadeo Balasi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rosendo Victoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adan Silbestre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Lauro was the one to do the kick off.
