The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Petrigai got free with Ignacio Eutropio in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute Rosendo Victoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Eutropio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cirilo Normando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiburcio Quin in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeo Balasi saved Aurinegro Bahiense from getting behind. A collision led to Aurinegro Bahiense getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Benjamin Petrigai hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Enrique Blasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caseros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Blasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeo Balasi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiburcio Quin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiburcio Quin struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Tadeo Balasi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caseros FC. Damaso Pes made in the 30th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Angelino Honrio immediately put the ball in play. 31 minutes into the match, Caseros FC's goalkeeper Ignacio Eutropio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Petrigai. Tiburcio Quin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Tadeo Balasi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Cirilo Normando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tadeo Balasi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42ndth minute of the game Tiburcio Quin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aurinegro Bahiense's Tadeo Balasi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Aurinegro Bahiense's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Quin came free, but Tadeo Balasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Ivan Vistruario threw the ball into play from the sideline. Caseros FC's Remigio Ordono quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After the first half Caseros FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduardo Lauro to strike the kick off in the second half. Aurinegro Bahiense's Tadeo Balasi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Aurinegro Bahiense from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Eduardo Lauro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacio Eutropio was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Tiburcio Quin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caseros FC's Ignacio Eutropio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Lauro in the 74th minute of play. Tiburcio Quin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Balasi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Aurinegro Bahiense's Angelino Honrio got a free kick in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the game, one of Aurinegro Bahiense:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Tadeo Balasi, was totally fooled by Caseros FC's Remigio Ordono, who 86 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After having played for 89 minutes, Gabriel Vigil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caseros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Vigil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remigio Ordono struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Tadeo Balasi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caseros FC. In the 97thth minute of the game Tiburcio Quin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aurinegro Bahiense's Tadeo Balasi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Caseros FC played a much better game than Aurinegro Bahiense and deserved their victory. The Aurinegro Bahiense players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
