Jeremias Presebal started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Tab in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Evarado saved Los Piojos from getting behind. Saul Tab struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Jonathan Evarado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marplatenses. Honorato Donostia charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorato Donostia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th match minute, Marplatenses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Donostia to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Vigil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeremias Presebal went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Leonides Argoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Vigil having to interfere. A collision led to Los Piojos getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Hermengildo Argenis hit a great ball. Jeremias Presebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Enrique Vigil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Firmin charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Firmin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Marplatenses's zone, Jeremias Presebal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Vigil came out of the goal and Jeremias Presebal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrique Vigil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Argoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saul Tab blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Evarado having to make a save. Saul Tab did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Evarado 42 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Jeremias Presebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Vigil having to interfere. With a little luck, Marplatenses's Enrique Vigil got control of the ball when Leonides Argoitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Saul Tab's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Evarado was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Jonathan Evarado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Donostia in the 62nd minute of the match. If Saul Tab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Vigil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Presebal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonides Argoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Tab in the 83rd minute of play forced Los Piojos's goalkeeper Jonathan Evarado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saul Tab took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Evarado. Jonathan Evarado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Los Piojos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
