In the 45th minute Dante Quintyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Tavio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Isidoro Rencio fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Galácticos F.C.'s protests and gave Isidoro Rencio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Isidoro Rencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidro Jenaro made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Los Galácticos F.C.'s zone, Isidro Jenaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Tavio came out of the goal and Isidro Jenaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Galácticos F.C.'s Baldomero Tavio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Jenaro in the 72nd minute of play. After 80 played minutes Menucos got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Etxatxu. Baldomero Tavio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Jenaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
