Delmar Furman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Frascuelo in the 5th minute of the match. When Juan Florin fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Menucos's protests and gave Juan Florin a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Menucos got a freekick which was hit by Juan Florin. Luciano Maties received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Delmar Furman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulbito FC's Fidel Quintana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Fulbito FC from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, Fernando Abeijon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gonzalo Herena kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Menucos's zone, Baldomero Frascuelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmar Furman came out of the goal and Baldomero Frascuelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fernando Abeijon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Genaro Hartz came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Fulbito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genaro Hartz couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the game, Fernando Abeijon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Delmar Furman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isidro Jenaro to strike the kick off in the second half. Luciano Maties might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmar Furman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Maties ran back to his position shaking his head. If Luciano Maties had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th match minute, Menucos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Florin to maneuver through the defense. Fabricio Remir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Baldomero Frascuelo came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Fulbito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Frascuelo couldn't finish the play. Fulbito FC's Domingos Conrao managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bruno Tonete in the 94 minute of the game. Fernando Abeijon struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Delmar Furman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fulbito FC. Genaro Hartz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Delmar Furman having to make a save. Fulbito FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
