Astor Tulio's late challenge caught a AFC Wimbledon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 7th minute Americo Fraco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Ihintza kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Pedro Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Fraco, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Americo Fraco in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Osvaldo Ihintza hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 12 played minutes, AFC Wimbledon's Marco Gaskon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Barros came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AFC Wimbledon reached it. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Wimbledon's zone, Astor Tulio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Niguel came out of the goal and Astor Tulio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldo Niguel was a little too slow when Isidoro Behe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. Astor Tulio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Osvaldo Niguel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Prudencio Jurdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Isidoro Behe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Papin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Wimbledon the free kick. In the 33rd match minute, Papin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Behe to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Papin's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Fraco came free, but Pedro Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Americo Fraco made the kick off in the second half. AFC Wimbledon's Osvaldo Niguel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Behe in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to AFC Wimbledon getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Prudencio Jurdan hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Astor Tulio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osvaldo Niguel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 70 minutes into the match, Isidoro Behe notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of AFC Wimbledon's Osvaldo Niguel. Osvaldo Niguel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 75 minutes into the match, AFC Wimbledon's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Gauargi came free, but Osvaldo Niguel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Americo Fraco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as AFC Wimbledon's Americo Fraco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Barros. That made the score 4-1 after 78 minutes of play. In the 84th minute, Prudencio Jurdan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Isidoro Behe, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 85 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Osvaldo Niguel was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Hugo Jacindo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Barros. Papin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mauro Rafe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Pedro Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Papin's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
