After 49 played minutes, Lepá FC's Jimeno Jakobe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Apolo Palban came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lepá FC reached it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristian Rozarius was the one to do the kick off. A wasted opportunity for Don Johnson F.C. Marcos Orzaize made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Cristian Rozarius sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd match minute, Lepá FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Txeru to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Rozarius in the 96th minute of play forced Lepá FC's goalkeeper Marcos Orzaize to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lepá FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Don Johnson F.C had controlled the match.
