Alejo Astudillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Barbosa charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Barbosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Foos FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Felix Barbosa hit a great ball. If Mauro Rafe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 played minutes Foos FC got a freekick which was hit by Felix Barbosa. Mauro Rafe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Emanuel Naike tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, AFC Wimbledon's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Txerran came free, but Osvaldo Niguel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Prudencio Jurdan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Wimbledon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Foos FC the free kick. In the 46th match minute, AFC Wimbledon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Jurdan to maneuver through the defense. Alejo Astudillo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Osvaldo Niguel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Americo Fraco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Niguel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Astudillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Wimbledon's zone, Victorino Txerran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Niguel came out of the goal and Victorino Txerran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Astudillo in the 57th minute of play forced AFC Wimbledon's goalkeeper Osvaldo Niguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to AFC Wimbledon getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ruben Llanos hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Victorino Txerran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Niguel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Rafe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Naike read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. AFC Wimbledon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Rafe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Americo Fraco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Naike having to interfere. In the 77thth minute of the game Alejo Astudillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Wimbledon's Osvaldo Niguel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, AFC Wimbledon's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Txerran came free, but Osvaldo Niguel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Mauro Rafe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Mauro Rafe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Naike was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Emanuel Naike successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mauro Rafe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Naike having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
