Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Delicias AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Argina came free, but Serafino Olentzaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Gonchan's late challenge caught a Contraataque FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolas Gonchan helped the player get up and apologised. 19 minutes into the game, one of Delicias AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Guillermo Rivas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 30 played minutes Contraataque FC got a freekick which was hit by Anier Polo. Contraataque FC's Sergio Polentzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Rivas in the 32nd minute of play. If Guillermo Rivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Guillermo Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Polentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Feliciano Resto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serafino Olentzaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dante Gotzon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Delicias AFC's Dante Gotzon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The supporters of Contraataque FC booed when Delicias AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Eufrasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Contraataque FC's Feliciano Resto got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th play minute Guillermo Rivas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sergio Polentzi. 1-2. Sergio Polentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Gotzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Gotzon in the 76th minute of play forced Contraataque FC's goalkeeper Sergio Polentzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delicias AFC's Dante Gotzon got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Dante Gotzon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Guillermo Rivas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Sergio Polentzi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Feliciano Resto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Contraataque FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliciano Resto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafino Olentzaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Gotzon might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Polentzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dante Gotzon ran back to his position shaking his head. The Delicias AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
