If Honorio Hanot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Bixintxo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Silvestre Gaur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Cugat in the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ballycastle Bats's Amancio Bixintxo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Rene Cugat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Angel Gora took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Silvestre Gaur to make any attempt to save it. Ballycastle Bats's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Madaleno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honorio Hanot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Silvestre Gaur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rene Cugat was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. Adolfo Madaleno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of 10junio booed when Ballycastle Bats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Lico didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvestre Gaur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Ballycastle Bats's zone, Rene Cugat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Gaur came out of the goal and Rene Cugat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rene Cugat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Gaur having to interfere. Gaston Jacob sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in 10junio's zone, Efrain Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Madaleno came out of the goal and Efrain Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10junio's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gaston Jacob 99 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Ballycastle Bats's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
