A collision led to Recreo getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Serafin Vela hit a great ball. Recreo's Cornelio Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Xabier in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Serafin Vela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Recreo's zone, Tomas Socorro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Gamus came out of the goal and Tomas Socorro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Xabier in the 31st minute of play forced Recreo's goalkeeper Cornelio Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Socorro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Cornelio Gamus made a huge save. Recreo's Cornelio Gamus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Recreo from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Recreo's zone, Hipolito Xabier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Gamus came out of the goal and Hipolito Xabier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juanchis FC's Guaberto Louis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Ramone in the 37th minute of play. Gilberto Ramone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Recreo booed when Juanchis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Lizar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes Recreo got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Nazario. 64 minutes into the match, Recreo's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Socorro came free, but Cornelio Gamus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Lizar during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Juanchis FC's Marcelo Lizar got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Gilberto Ramone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Juanchis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Ramone came free, but Guaberto Louis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guaberto Louis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fulgencio Cidro went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Eloy Vincente hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute Tomas Socorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Gamus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Ramone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guaberto Louis having to make a save. Fulgencio Cidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Guaberto Louis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tomas Socorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Recreo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
