In the 11thth minute of the game Efrain Vidal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Delicias AFC's Serafino Olentzaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amancio Bixintxo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Silvestre Gaur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Gotzon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efrain Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Roque Goyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Delicias AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafino Olentzaro should have stopped the shot. Dante Gotzon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Dante Gotzon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvestre Gaur was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Guillermo Rivas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Gaur having to interfere. Jacobo Loiola's late challenge caught a Delicias AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacobo Loiola helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ballycastle Bats's Jacobo Loiola got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute of the match Nicolas Gonchan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvestre Gaur skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Ballycastle Bats getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ermegildo Restu hit a great ball.

In the 61st match minute, Ballycastle Bats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Loiola to maneuver through the defense. After 68 minutes, Froilan Eufrasio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delicias AFC and the Ballycastle Bats players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ballycastle Bats's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efrain Vidal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Jacob in the 86th minute of play forced Delicias AFC's goalkeeper Serafino Olentzaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Guillermo Rivas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvestre Gaur was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. When Efrain Vidal came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Ballycastle Bats fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Vidal couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Delicias AFC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Luciano Medina hit a great ball. Ulises Salamon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
