Alfonso Santo came out of the goal and Victorino Bizen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Placido Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Lidon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute Placido Lidon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorino Bizen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alfonso Santo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Dead End FC's Victorino Bizen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfonso Santo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Placido Lidon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfonso Santo. Macha AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Placido Lidon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Placido Lidon might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfonso Santo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Placido Lidon ran back to his position shaking his head. If Oscar Ongile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Ongile might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Venancio Luzaide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roberto Jerrald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Luzaide having to interfere. With a little luck, Dead End FC's Venancio Luzaide got control of the ball when Oscar Ongile tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roberto Jerrald stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Roberto Jerrald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Roberto Jerrald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Luzaide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite this Alfonso Santo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Placido Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Macha AFC's Augusto Cristofol got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Placido Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
