Abel Ermano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Oeste psicodelico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Ermano to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Drysdale booed when Oeste psicodelico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Ermano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Drysdale's Artemio Fernendo got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Anselmo Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Belo having to interfere. When Isaias Firman came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Oeste psicodelico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaias Firman couldn't finish the play. Bernardino Cristos kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Ovidio Belo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Fernendo in the 90th minute of the match. 2-3 became the score in the 99th minute when Anselmo Arce elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Oeste psicodelico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
