Blas Salvator came out of the goal and Baldomero Polentzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Cirilo Cresconio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cirilo Cresconio was the one to do the kick off. Dudignac Social Club's Blas Salvator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Polentzi in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes in the game, Mario Furtado fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Joel Ermano having to interfere. Baldomero Polentzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Blas Salvator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Baldomero Polentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blas Salvator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Polentzi in the 61st minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Lisandro Shantala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dudignac Social Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores de Belgrano the free kick. The supporters of Defensores de Belgrano booed when Dudignac Social Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Shantala didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Gonzalo Baladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Vela was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Marciano Caradaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Joel Ermano made a huge save. After having played for 79 minutes, Cirilo Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores de Belgrano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cirilo Cresconio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Defensores de Belgrano's Baldomero Polentzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blas Salvator narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joel Ermano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Furtado in the 86th minute of the match. Cirilo Cresconio scored 2-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blas Salvator, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Blas Salvator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Polentzi in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Defensores de Belgrano had won after a very even match.
