Oeste psicodelico's Ovidio Belo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Gudesteo in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute, Damian Caitano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Oeste psicodelico's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Gudesteo came free, but Ovidio Belo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelino Gudesteo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gogo Quintana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Domingo Tauro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oeste psicodelico's Gogo Quintana got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Firman in the 34th minute of play forced Vilismán's goalkeeper Israel Mero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaias Firman to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Gogo Quintana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Mero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Nicasio Nesor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oeste psicodelico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Ovidio Belo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelino Gudesteo's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Oeste psicodelico's zone, Domingo Tauro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Belo came out of the goal and Domingo Tauro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingo Tauro's late challenge caught a Oeste psicodelico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingo Tauro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Oeste psicodelico booed when Vilismán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Tauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Boni took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Israel Mero. Vilismán's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Isaias Firman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcelino Gudesteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Belo having to interfere. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
